A Safe Arrival to and from School
At Oakleigh House, we run two minibuses for home-to-school transport. You can use a combination of morning and afternoon journeys throughout the week to fit in with your family’s schedule.
Our School minibuses are driven by members of staff accompanied by a chaperone; we also employ Lloyds Mini Bus Hire who provide a fully audited and vetted transport service, ensuring parents’ peace of mind that all legal requirements are met. All drivers are fully DBS checked in accordance with Cognita policy.
We operate two routes which are arranged each academic year according to demand. The mini-buses are scheduled to arrive in time for morning registration at 8.45am. We will endeavour to accommodate the requirements of as many families as possible.
In an endeavour to reduce congestion in Penlan Crescent when arriving at school in the mornings we have introduced a drop-off area. On alighting from the family car pupils are supervised so that they safely enter the building, without parents having to leave their car.
